Social Media Manager (Contract to Hire Role)

We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy, content creation, and daily management across multiple platforms for four startups. This is a remote, contracted role with a focus on building brand awareness, driving engagement, and meeting fundraising goals through creative and data-driven social media campaigns.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning: Develop monthly content calendars and platform-specific strategies tailored to the unique needs of each startup.
Content Creation: Create engaging posts, graphics, captions, and short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Platform Management: Schedule and publish content, monitor comments and messages, and ensure timely responses to audience interactions.
Fundraising & Campaigns: Create and manage social media campaigns aimed at increasing donations and achieving measurable fundraising goals.
Engagement & Growth: Build and nurture online communities, engage with followers, and drive audience growth through proactive interactions and participation in trends.
Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics, prepare monthly reports, and adjust strategies to improve ROI and fundraising outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing social media for multiple brands or organizations.
Strong skills in content creation (graphic design and video editing).
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later).
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
Ability to write compelling, platform-specific captions and content.
Knowledge of social media trends and best practices for driving engagement and fundraising.
Familiarity with paid social campaigns and ROI optimization (preferred).
Passionate about Making America Healthy Again issues.

Preferred Experience

Managing social media for startups or non-profits.
Experience with campaigns that successfully increased donations or sales.
Background in digital marketing or fundraising.

Compensation

Base Rate: $4,500–$6,500/month (commensurate with experience).
Performance Bonuses: Structured bonuses based on meeting or exceeding fundraising and engagement goals.
