We are seeking a talented and versatile Freelance Writer to work on documenting events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for writing and good research skills. This role offers the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities

Create engaging and informative content tailored to our shareholders.
Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and credibility in all written pieces.
Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and style.
Collaborate with clients or team members to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.
Fact-check information to maintain integrity and reliability in all publications.
Adapt writing style to suit different formats such as journalism, technical writing, copywriting, and creative writing.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Skills

Strong writing skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Excellent proofreading and copy editing abilities to ensure polished final drafts.
Proficient in fact-checking and research methodologies to support content accuracy.
Familiarity with AP style guidelines as well as the Chicago Manual of Style is preferred.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
Experience in journalism or proposal writing is a plus.
Competence in technical writing for specialized topics may be beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
