Social Media and Content Strategist

About the Role: In this role, you will report into one of our Co-Founders and work collaboratively with our growth and creative teams to drive the social media strategy and deliver on-brand content across social channels - working in both a strategic and task-oriented capacity. This person must be passionate about social trends, love all things content creation, be extremely organized, and have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

What You’ll Do

Plan, manage and execute social media vision to drive brand discovery, customer engagement and sales
Brainstorm and execute innovative new social strategies, test new platforms, and expand social monetization opportunities
Ideate and develop creative ideas for paid social ads to drive growth (revenue) and customer engagement
Create UGC from scratch (videos and stills) / edit videos including partner whitelisting content
Create content for and manage all organic social channels - including posting on IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Twitter etc
Maintain deep understanding of social media metrics and data analysis and ownership of data touch-points
Work with internal creative team and oversee social campaign strategy, leading social creative ideation to deliver innovative, best-in-class campaigns and meet channel growth goals
Develop and own multiple team KPIs for social media strategy to drive results toward our business goals over short and long-term that are reported to senior leadership
Provide thought leadership and guidance for social media best practices such as content publishing guidelines, KPI benchmarks, and channel growth strategies across our organization
Maintain a detailed creative calendar to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Who You Are

3+ years of relevant experience in social media marketing, including creative development
Experience in Capcut, Veed and Photoshop
Experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across digital platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics
Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent
Analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives and external agencies
Experience launching and/or directly managing social accounts
Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and pioneering new approaches within your team or comp
Excels in self-direction, self-pacing, and working independently
Keep a cool head, a “nothing is beneath me attitude” and be able to reprioritize on the fly
Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High energy, ability to consistently take initiative, and a healthy dose of hustle

Location: [Boston, MA or NYC/ Brooklyn, New York] Hybrid work schedule of 3 days/week in-office at either of our Boston or Brooklyn headquarters.
