Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Content Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative video scripts that effectively convey our clients’ messages to both internal and external audiences. You’ll collaborate closely with various clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and internal teams to communicate potentially complex topics through compelling narratives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is very well-organized, and shows genuine enthusiasm for visual storytelling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with clients to identify video communication needs and objectives
Conduct independent research to gather content and understand story elements
Plan and script videos for marketing, training, internal communications, and more
Conduct pre-interview calls with key stakeholders, SMEs, and interview subjects
Develop scripts, interview questions, and story arcs for a range of video projects
Revise content based on feedback to ensure alignment with production goals
Conduct on-set and virtual interviews to capture compelling story elements
Work with fellow creatives to shape cohesive narratives in post-production

PERFORMANCE GOALS

Deliver scripts in various video formats for both on-camera and voiceover talent
Collaborate with production teams to create shot lists and visual suggestions
Demonstrate knowledge of, and adapt language to, each clients’ brand voice
Successfully conduct interviews that elicit natural, compelling responses
Manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within production timelines

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
2-5 years of experience developing story structures and writing scripts
Strong storytelling and visual storytelling skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with corporate communication principles and practices is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Freelance

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
