DIGITECH is seeking a 1099 Contract web content manager / SEO content strategist to join our team. We are a digital agency based in Austin, Texas and your primary goal will be managing 10-15 monthly SEO client's entire content library as well as the strategy and implementation of future content endeavours.

Responsibilities:

- Auditing client's existing content libraries, working with the SEO team to create plans of action to improve stale or aging content, and creating a content plan to optimize copy.
- Develop new content plans based upon competitors, industry research, SEO keyword research and more to create one year content road-map's to increase clients SEO through content.

- Ordering content from our writers based upon the strategy.
- Collaborate and QA our content writers to ensure content quality matches the original strategy and that SEO data was written & implemented correctly.

- Collaborate with our design team to spot-check QA their designs to ensure they were designed according to the content that was written.

- Final QA of all published web copy to ensure it was published and SEO optimized correctly on the live website and/or publishing content yourself.
- Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools to make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Content Strategist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of content marketing strategies and how to grow clients SEO footprint through copy.
- Advanced Familiarity with SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) for publishing and organizing content.

Our hours and schedule are flexible - this should be considered a 30-40 hour a week position due to our client workload. You will have the ability to make your own schedule as long as the scope of work is completed.

This is a 1099 contract position.
