Position Title: Social Media Coordinator - part-time

Location/Hours: Fully virtual and Part-time (estimated 5-7 hours/week) to start. Eastern/Central time zone preferred. US-based required.

Role Overview:We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee our online presence, drive engagement, and build brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a proven ability to grow and engage audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a social media calendar and strategy aligned with our business goals.
Use our existing material and work with members of the team to develop compelling content (text, image, and video) that can be used on Instagram.
Monitor and report on social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategy.
Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and incorporate them into our strategy as needed and content creation
Where opportunities present themselves, identify potential collaborations with creators and sponsorships to amplify our brand.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
Basic fluency and comfort with personal finance topics.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics tools.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.

What We Offer:

$40-60/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
We expect this role to require 5-7 hours per week and will grow as the firm grows.
Begins as a 1099 role, but can become a W2 role as hours increase.
