We are an established Wholesale Food Company based in Hauppauge, New York seeking a skilled and self-motivated Content Creator who excels at photo and video production for social media. You’ll be responsible for ideating, shooting, styling, editing, and publishing content that aligns with our brand voice and captures audience attention. This role blends creative production with a deep understanding of platform-specific trends and content formats. You will work closely with our Social Media Manager & Senior Graphic Designer to develop and execute content plans that align with our marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on content planning, scheduling, and campaign execution
Plan, style, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video content for TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts), Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Act as on-camera talent when needed (e.g. tutorials, recipes, product spotlights, unboxings, etc.)
Stay up to date with social media trends, sound bites, viral formats, and platform algorithm updates
Use editing tools like CapCut, Canva, and/or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator to create high-quality, scroll-stopping content
Manage pre- and post-production including setting up scenes, sourcing props, styling shoots, and editing assets
Create recipe-based, DIY, behind-the-scenes, and user-generated-style content with a focus on relatability and shareability
Assist in developing content calendars and scheduling posts across platforms
Maintain visual consistency and strong branding across all creative assets
Monitor engagement metrics and optimize content based on performance

Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, video editing, or digital marketing (food industry a plus)
Proven experience creating food and recipe videos for social media — must include examples in your portfolio.
Strong understanding of how to break down recipes into visually compelling, bite-sized video content.
Experience with food styling, lighting, and camera angles specific to recipe video content.
Proficient in CapCut and Canva
Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a strong plus
Comfortable in front of the camera and able to communicate clearly and energetically
Strong eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with creative ideas and a passion for food content
Experience with food styling or product photography is highly preferred
Portfolio and/or media kit showcasing past work is required
