NUUS is a performance-driven marketing company that creates high-impact, emotionally resonant video content for brands that want to move the needle. We’re not just making ads—we’re telling mini-stories that capture attention, build connection, and drive action. Think fast-paced cuts, cinematic storytelling, and scroll-stopping visuals.

We’re looking for a sharp, creative Video Editor who understands the art of editing for performance—not just polish. You’ll help turn raw footage, stock clips, and brand assets into compelling short-form videos that sell.

What You’ll Do

Edit short-form video ads (typically ~2 mins) for social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Create multiple aspect ratios (1080x1080, 1080x1920, etc.) for cross-platform use
Combine branded assets, online footage, stock, and B-roll to create dramatic, engaging narratives
Add music, on-brand text overlays, pacing changes, and transitions optimized for engagement
Collaborate with our creative team and strategists to bring ad concepts to life
Iterate on high-performing creatives with quick turnaround (music swaps, new hooks, pacing tweaks)
Maintain exceptional attention to detail—many clients have strict brand and legal guidelines
Contribute creative input on storytelling, pacing, and visual direction

What We’re Looking For

Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and the Adobe Creative Suite
A reel that shows you can cut compelling, scroll-stopping ads—bonus if you’ve worked in DTC or performance marketing
Solid understanding of how to optimize content for engagement: pacing, hooks, emotional arcs, etc.
Experience with basic color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and typography
Able to work independently and hit deadlines in a fast-paced, feedback-rich environment
Creative, collaborative, and performance-minded—you’re not afraid to test and tweak until something works

Bonus Points For

Experience working with brands in health, wellness, or consumer products
Skills in 3D animation, advanced motion graphics, or design
Familiarity with ad performance metrics and what makes a video convert
