Assistant Media Planner
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Media Planner to join our dynamic Media Planning team. The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of media plans, ensuring that our clients' advertising campaigns are delivered effectively and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the media planning field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of media plans that align with client objectives and budgets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform media strategies and identify opportunities.
- Coordinate with media vendors to negotiate rates, book ad placements, and ensure timely delivery of media buys.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of media campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to optimize performance.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on campaign progress and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Handle administrative tasks related to media planning, including invoicing, budget tracking, and documentation.
- Work closely with internal teams, including creative, account management, and analytics, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a similar/related program preferred
- Lives in Michigan
- 1-2 years of experience in media planning, buying, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with media planning tools and software is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
