Role Description
The Social Media and Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing content strategies that engage our audience, amplify our brand voice, and drive customer engagement. This role combines creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making to maximize the impact of our communications efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage content calendars for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create, schedule, and post compelling content, including copywriting, graphics, photos, and videos.
- Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and mentions; engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage content calendars for forums such as Bronco6G, IH8mud, Jeepwrangler.com
- Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to optimize engagement and growth.
Content Creation & Brand Storytelling:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create on-brand content that highlights product launches, promotions, events, and company milestones.
- Assist with photo and video shoots, including concept development and on-site coordination.
- Draft blog posts, press releases, and newsletters to support communications efforts.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms.
- Use data insights to refine strategies and inform future campaigns.
Collaborations & Campaigns:
- Coordinate with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors to amplify brand awareness.
- Support cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, communications, or a similar role.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and analytics tools.
Preferred:
- Experience with video editing and content creation for platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
- Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and CRM platforms.
- Passion for the automotive, outdoor adventure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
