As a Content Writer/Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging and attractive content for the firm and our national small business clients. Your ability to harness the tone and soul of a brand will be crucial in communicating value propositions, engaging target audiences, and driving brand loyalty. Responsibilities
- Craft pithy written content for various platforms, including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, social media posts, website copy, etc.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to gather insights and inputs for content creation.
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and aligned with our brand voice and messaging.
- Optimize content for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords, meta tags, and other best practices.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Develop content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of content initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and improve content strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with content marketing trends and tools to enhance our client content creation efforts.
- Support other marketing and communication initiatives as needed.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably in the B2B or professional services industry.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar and punctuation.
- Ability to translate complex concepts and technical information into clear, compelling, and accessible content.
- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools.
- Creative thinker with the ability to brainstorm and generate new content ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
