General:
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for writing and editing content for digital marketing campaigns and specializes in creating content for marketing purposes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Designs content that is relevant to engage prospective and existing customers, and to drive traffic to Diamond’s website to boost sales.
2. Design and implement marketing campaigns for all divisions of Diamond.
3. Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns via print and email channels.
4. Manage layouts, design and written content of communications such as presentations, news releases, event support materials, research papers, and brochures.
5. Maintain inventory of promotional items
6. Conduct and plan market research activities of business groups, including: competitors, potential clients, relevant industry contacts.
7. Create and organize information specifically for show packets, handouts, and follow-ups.
8. Supply sales, management, and advertising outlets with appropriate marketing communications pieces [print, video, web, etc.] as needed.
9. Prepare and organize collateral material for trade shows.
10. Continue to develop and maintain website and social media networks, including: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
11. Stays up-to-date with the latest Google algorithm and content marketing trends.
12. Oversees team, often handling more intensive strategy work and planning with the other digital marketing team.
13. Assist in organization and preparation of company events [for general public and for employees].
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to express creative ideas in marketing material (flyers, ads, newsletters, etc.)
- Strong ability to multitask
- High degree of accuracy for detailed work
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient and company information
- Maintain a neat and clean professional appearance
- Efficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Efficient in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Knowledge of social media outlets
- Knowledge of general marketing practices
Education:
Bachelors’ Degree (preferably in Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2-4 years experience in marketing, communications, and/or graphic design position
