Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and proofread written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand style guides.
- Collaborate with writers and editors to refine content.
- Verify accuracy of facts, citations, and references.
- Suggest revisions to improve readability and coherence.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.
- Stay updated on language trends, grammar rules, and style guidelines.
- Utilize proofreading tools and software to enhance accuracy.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in proofreading, editing, or publishing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for language accuracy.
- Excellent command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with style guides such as AP, Chicago, or MLA.
- Passion for precision and high-quality written content.
- Knowledge of screenplay formatting, industry standards, and storytelling techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for film, television, and storytelling.
