Paid Search Specialist with 3+ years SEM experience. You will work to plan, execute, optimize, and communicate a robust marketing strategy across Google, Bing, and Amazon properties. Must have a thorough understanding of Search Engine Marketing, SEO, and Budget management.
Functions and Responsibilities:
SEM Marketing:
- Owns all aspects of paid search campaigns, including initial planning, creative, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
- Understands and employs as appropriate bid management, negative keyword strategies, website and category exclusions, geo-targeting, and day-parting
- Non-Brand Search campaigns
- Understands the incrementality of various SEM campaigns and ensure all SEM campaigns drive real business impact
- Improves campaign performance through A/B and multivariate testing, visitor segmentation, messaging and landing pages
- Defines and implements ad copy testing schedule, creative, and execution to improve efficiency and expand the program
- Provides forecasting and budgeting guidelines for financial reporting
- Stays up-to-date on best practices for SEM strategy
- Conducts competitive research, identify business implications & share findings
- Other Google Marketing Channels (YouTube, GDN, Discovery):
- Owns all aspects of YouTube, GDN, and Discovery campaigns, including initial planning, creative, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
- Understands and utilizes best practices across YouTube, GDN, and Discovery
- Works with Cymbiotika’s in-house creative team to develop creative strategies for YouTube
- Is a thought driver for measuring the true business impact of these channels and be a thought partner on how to correctly measure business impact on an ongoing basis
- Stays up-to-date on best practices for all Google marketing channels strategy
Skills:
- You have advanced experience with large scale, complex SEM campaigns, agency experience is preferred
- You are a strong communicator and have the ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical timelines
- You have an in-depth understanding of Paid Search campaign management and optimization practices
- You are well versed in success measurements
- You have a track record of success scaling YouTube campaigns
- You have a track record of success scaling campaigns Non-Brand Search campaigns
- Amazon advertising and merchandising experience is highly preferred
- Discovery experience a plus
- GDN experience is must
Work Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience optimizing CR on websites either in-house or as part of a digital marketing agency
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets experience
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Must work onsite from the San Diego office
