We’re on the hunt for a passionate, creative and detail-obsessed Junior Copywriter to join our growing VCU advertising and marketing team. If you love telling stories, playing with words, and bringing big ideas to life across all kinds of platforms-from print to digital to social-this could be the gig for you.
You’ll collaborate with art directors, designers, strategists, and other creative folks to write everything from powerful headlines to dynamic social posts, video scripts, and more. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their portfolio, learn from experienced creatives, and help shape the voice of a bold and energetic brand.
What you’ll do:
- Write clear and compelling creative copy for a variety of projects-think websites, social posts, brochures, emails, scripts, print ads, OOH and beyond
- Collaborate with art directors / designers and other team members to bring ideas to life
- Learn our UNCOMMON brand voice-and use it consistently across everything you write
- Help develop breakthrough concepts and campaign ideas
- Edit and proofread your work for clarity, grammar, and style
- Work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines like a pro
- Soak up feedback and keep leveling up your writing game
- Stay in the know about trends in culture, marketing, advertising and what makes audiences tick
