Producer/Editor
New Age Media is seeking a full-time hourly Video Producer/Editor responsible for scripting, shooting, editing, and producing local video content for broadcast in Gainesville, Florida.
This position is perfect for someone:
· Strong working knowledge of video production equipment and software
· Proficient video shooting and editing skills
· Self-motivated and deadline-oriented
· Good judgement in the field on when to coach the client on content or when to defer
Responsibilities include:
· Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of all on-site equipment and software to produce a quality product
· Record video and audio for commercial, promotional, and interview-style content
· Manage and keep an organized pre- and post-production workflow
· Demonstrate an understanding of different audio capture equipment and techniques
· Arrange props and lighting equipment for shoot requirements
· Apply software knowledge and skills to edit products under tight deadlines
· Write quality and creative commercial and promo scripts, along with short and long form programs as needed
· Utilize graphics design skills to create graphics for the web
· Seeks workable solutions when problems arise and suggests ways to resolve them
To be successful in this position:
· Must have a High School Diploma, but prefer someone with degree in Digital Media Production, Videography, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
· Working knowledge of Adobe Software: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop
· 1 year of production experience in TV or radio
· Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license
