Overview
We are a play space dedicated to serving children with special needs. Some prior experience with this population is required for this position. This position would also require supervision of the play space to ensure the safety of children. All employees are also responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness. expert to spend at least an hour out of every shift on cleaning tasks.
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends to drive engagement and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement through social listening.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the manager and owner to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
- Utilize Canva to create content.
- Conduct proofreading of all content to maintain brand voice and accuracy before publication.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media marketing.
Skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies with a focus on social media marketing.
- Strong understanding of web analytics tools to track performance metrics.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe Illustrator) for graphic design and content creation as well as Canva.
- Knowledge of photography techniques to create visually appealing content.
- Ability to craft compelling advertising copy that drives engagement.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure all communications are clear and error-free.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
