Snapfish (part of the Shutterfly family of brands) was built to help people archive and share photos. For almost two decades, our tools have played a critical part in changing how people around the world store and share photos with one another.
Snapfish is seeking a Copywriter to work across marketing channels with the primary focus on digital communication, including email, website, app, SMS, and paid social. The ideal candidate has at least three years of copywriting experience in a digital-forward retail/ecommerce environment. You can analyze a brief and ask smart questions to deliver the best content, and have an eye for the details. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and take feedback with grace. You are an organized self-starter who can operate independently, but also collaborates well with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders. Snapfish operates in both the US and international markets, including the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Experience with writing for international brands and the considerations that come with localization will help propel a candidate to the top. Experience working in a sprint system is a plus. Responsibilities

Craft compelling copy for emails, subject lines, SMS, paid social, and more that drive conversion while still capturing our unique brand voice

Interpret, iterate, and execute on briefs to create a cohesive brand experience across channels

Jump in to quick-turnaround projects with gusto, but also deep dive into long-lead initiatives that require thoughtfulness and planning

Actively participate in project kickoffs, asking insightful questions to gain detail, clarification, and alignment with marketing partners

Tailor your copy to each channel, laddering up to a big idea but working within channel best practices including character limits, audience, and platform limitations
- Add freshness to reoccurring seasonal events through storytelling
- Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and marketing partners
- Incorporate learnings from creative testing into your work — be willing to live in the grey of evolving guidelines
- Be able to manage your workload independently, but know when another set of eyes is needed

Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or commensurate experience

3+ years of copywriting experience with an internal brand team or agency, with a focus on ecommerce

Understanding that copy and design work hand in hand — you aren’t afraid to jump into a Figma file and brainstorm right along with your design partners

Ability to prioritize workloads and independently manage multiple projects

Highly organized with a clear and responsive communication style

Great attention to detail

Passionate about creative work, but known for taking direction and critique with grace

Proofreading experience is a bonus

Familiarity with Figma and Asana is a plus

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.
California : [$58,500-$83,000.00]
Connecticut and New York: [$58,500-$75,750]
Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington: [$58,500-$70,250]
Nevada: [$55,500-$75,750]
Maryland and New Jersey: [$63,250-$75,750]
Hawaii : [$55,500 – $66,000]
