Join International Carwash Association (ICA) during a time of dynamic growth in the explosive car wash market. ICA seeks an inquisitive, collaborative, creative and detail-oriented professional to manage the operational aspects of our content publishing processes. The Content Manager ensures high-quality, on-time content delivery across print and digital channels, supporting ICA’s goals to: drive subscription growth, increase advertising revenue, and strengthen the perceived value of ICA.
This is a hands-on project management role focused on overseeing timelines, vendors, and content creation workflows. This position manages existing print publications (CAR WASH Magazine, The Pulse Report) while supporting growth into new markets and digital formats.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Production & Project Management
- Coordinate production schedules for ICA’s print publications and digital assets.
- Manage content calendars, proofing workflows and publishing logistics.
- Maintain accuracy, timeliness and consistency in all processes and deliverables.
- Contribute editorial input as needed to support publications and digital platforms.
Vendor & Contributor Coordination
- Manage freelance writers, designers, translators and print vendors.
- Ensure output meets brand guidelines and editorial standards.
- Evaluate and recommend vendor process improvements.
Digital Content Support
- Edit, adapt and post content for web and email platforms.
- Optimize headlines, summaries, copy and assets for digital channels.
- Contribute to digital publishing workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Develop a thorough and ongoing familiarity with the car wash industry and its participants.
- Support research staff to translate survey results into intuitive, visual reports.
- Coordinate with Growth Unit to ensure content supports ad/sponsorship placements.
- Collaborate with the ICA team to uncover, distribute and promote content assets.
- Assist in facilitating a strategic advisory group to source ideas, leads, insights and feedback.
- Position processes for future alignment with international publishing partners to share efficiency and cohesive workflows.
PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years in publishing operations or multi-channel content production.
- Strong project and vendor management experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools (i.e. Asana).
- Organized, communicative, deadline-oriented and execution-focused.
- Experience with translation workflows and managing international teams a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
