Job Title: Freelance TikTok Content Writer
Role Overview:
As a freelance TikTok Content Writer, you will be responsible for crafting short-form video scripts, captions, and concepts that align with TikTok trends, our brand voice, and specific audience demographics. You’ll work with our social media director to deliver the appropriate branding and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write short-form video scripts (15–60 seconds) tailored to TikTok’s format.
- We would like to post two times per week.
- Develop strong hooks, clear messaging, and calls to action.
- Research current TikTok trends, audios, and content formats.
- Write engaging captions and select effective hashtags.
- Collaborate with video editors, social media managers, or creators to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain brand voice while adapting to various tones (e.g., educational, humorous, inspirational).
Requirements:
- Proven experience writing for TikTok or similar short-form platforms (Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Strong understanding of TikTok trends, content strategy, and algorithm behavior.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Ability to write in a concise, punchy, and engaging tone.
- Experience with content calendars and batch scripting is a plus.
- Portfolio or examples of previous TikTok content/scripts required.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in social media marketing or creative writing.
- Experience working with influencers or personal brands.
- Ability to suggest or storyboard visual elements or transitions.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $250.00 - $300.00 per month
