Position Summary
The Marketing Manager owns two critical lanes:
- Content Production — plan, script, film, photograph, edit, and publish high-impact social content. You will appear on camera frequently, serving as a personable brand representative.
- Campaign Oversight — coordinate and optimize paid social and search campaigns for clients. You’ll translate creative assets into revenue-focused advertising and report performance in plain language.
Both lanes demand initiative, attention to detail, and a constant eye on metrics that matter.
Core Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Plan, script, film, photograph, edit, and publish high-impact short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Shorts, photos) optimized for each social platform.
- On-Camera Hosting: Serve as a confident, personable brand representative in videos—explaining services, showcasing client wins, and capturing behind-the-scenes culture.
- Channel Management: Own social calendars, write captions, schedule posts, moderate comments, and engage communities in a timely, brand-appropriate voice.
- Advertising Support: Launch and monitor paid social and search campaigns for clients; adjust creative, targeting, and budgets to meet key performance metrics and report results.
- Trend Scouting: Track platform updates, emerging formats, and sound trends; pitch and test new ideas to keep content fresh and competitive.
- Sales Alignment: Coordinate with the sales team to ensure every piece of content and every campaign supports lead generation and conversion goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor analytics, identify patterns, and recommend concrete next steps to boost reach, engagement, and return on investment.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years managing social media or content projects for a brand, agency, or personal purposes.
- Demonstrated smartphone videography and photography proficiency—strong framing, lighting, audio, and quick-turn mobile editing.
- Confident, articulate on-camera presence; able to deliver concise messages and adapt tone for different audiences.
- Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Business Suite, and basic ad-manager dashboards, with ability to deepen expertise quickly.
- Excellent written communication; able to draft sharp captions and clear client updates.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines, switch contexts rapidly, and maintain organized workflows.
Preferred Extras
- Graphic design: Canva, Adobe Express, or basic Adobe CC skills.
- Hands-on experience with paid-social or Google Ads interfaces.
- Familiarity with SEO concepts or email-marketing platforms.
Compensation & Work Environment
- Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience (non-exempt; overtime included).
- Hours: Full-time, flexible scheduling. Remote work permitted when production or campaign duties do not require on-site resources.
- Culture: Results first, egos last. Expect direct feedback, fast approvals, and credit given where it’s due.
