Head of SEO – Organic Growth & Inbound Lead Gen (Agency Experience Required)

We’re hiring an SEO leader who will build and run our entire SEO engine from the ground up. You’ll head up our organic growth strategy, manage SEO for all clients, and develop systems that scale. If you’ve run SEO at an agency, know how to drive high-intent inbound leads, and want to be the one who builds the machine — this is your role.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead SEO strategy across all clients with a focus on local and organic lead generation
- Optimize and scale Google Business Profiles (GBP) and local listings
- Build the systems and playbooks for scalable SEO fulfillment
- Manage audits, keyword strategy, content calendars, link building, and technical fixes
- Create and oversee performance reporting for traffic, rankings, and lead growth
- Work cross-functionally with sales and client success to align SEO with outcomes
- Own the SEO department — from systems to staffing
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5+ years of agency-side SEO experience
- Proven results driving organic inbound leads for local or service-based businesses
- Hands-on with technical SEO, content strategy, on-page/off-page SEO, and GBP optimization
- Skilled in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4, BrightLocal, etc.
- Experience building scalable systems and managing multiple client campaigns
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you’ve either built something or wanted to
- Clear communicator who can take ownership and drive results independently
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with verticals like roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or landscaping
- Understanding of CRO and funnel optimization
- Familiarity with CMS tools like WordPress, Webflow, GHL
- Managed freelancers or junior SEO team members
