Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a website content roadmap aligned with business goals, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
- Ensure a consistent cadence of fresh, conversion-focused content.
- Own the content lifecycle: from ideation through execution, optimization, and retirement.
Content Creation & Management
- Create, manage, and optimize all on-site content, including:
- Hero banners, promotional modules, landing/category pages
- Brand/vendor pages, product detail descriptions, and featured sales pages
- Write and proofread all content for clarity, accuracy, SEO, and brand voice.
- Work closely with the Branding team to align visual assets with copy and strategy.
UX/UI & Visual Mockups
- Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and site audits to inform content and layout decisions.
- Design wireframes and high-fidelity mockups (via Figma) for new landing pages and key experiences.
- Iterate on mockups based on stakeholder feedback and performance metrics.
SEO & CRO Optimization
- Lead on-page SEO initiatives: optimize metadata, headings, keywords, and page structure.
- Monitor content performance, identify ranking opportunities, and drive organic traffic improvements.
- Execute A/B tests (headlines, CTAs, visuals, layouts) to improve conversion rates.
- Ensure pages are mobile-optimized, responsive, and fast-loading.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with:
- Data Analyst: to align content with high-performing products, customer behavior, and trends.
- Web Dev & QA Teams: to implement mockups and content updates.
- Marketing & Sales: to support promotions, campaigns, and product launches.
- SEO Team: to align technical SEO with content execution.
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage content calendars, workflows, and delivery timelines using tools like Jira.
- Oversee timely and accurate product listings and promotional page updates.
- Track and report on key content KPIs and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, UX/UI, or a related field.
- 5+ years in e-commerce content, UX writing, digital merchandising, or similar role.
- Strong image editing and graphic design skills using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent, with the ability to create and modify web-ready assets, promotional banners, and mockups (portfolio required).
- Experience with content design and mockups using Figma
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of on-page SEO and its connection to conversion strategy.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (Shopify, Magento, or custom systems).
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics or GA4 for content performance tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with A/B testing and personalization tools (Salesforce, Optimizely, etc.).
- Familiarity with project tools like Jira or Trello.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for formatting content.
- Background in retail or home appliance industry a plus.
