Get in on the ground floor with Market Wagon, the online farmers market. If you have a passion for locally grown and produced food and the people who produce and consume it, our e-commerce business is the online shopping and delivery service you have dreamed about.
Each of our eighteen hubs in different cities provides a direct channel for local farmers and food artisans to market their products online to the residents in their area. Farmers and food artisans bring the food to their Market Wagon hub after shoppers have placed their orders. We deliver the individual orders to homes and public pickup locations.
We need a friendly, confident, and experienced individual to generate content for and to manage our consumer-facing social media accounts, to produce a newsletter/blog for our suppliers, and to validate/improve the quality of supplier-generated listings in our online store.
General responsibilities include:
* Develop the posting plan for company socials (mainly FB/IG) and do the posting
* Develop the posting plan for hub-specific socials and coordinate the activities of other employees who post
* Create content for these sites - photos, videos, stories
* Develop a cadence for our supplier-facing newsletter/blog and manage the content and publish the items
* Develop and execute a plan for assuring supplier-generated content in our online store follows guidelines
* Meet and form relationships with the suppliers who visit our hub each week
* Travel occasionally to other hubs for the same reasons
* Other tasks as assigned. Market Wagon encourages qualified employees to spread their wings and try new things. This role can branch out into helping with other aspects of marketing, merchandising, and/or customer support, depending on the need.
This hybrid position can flex between 30 and 40 hours per week (typically 2+ days onsite).
