Position Overview:

As a Proofreader for the Pacific Properties Team, you will play a key role in ensuring that all written materials—such as marketing documents, contracts, property descriptions, and communication materials—are error-free, clear, and consistent. You will work closely with our marketing and communications team to maintain the professionalism and high standards of our company’s materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Proofread and edit various documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency.
Ensure that content aligns with Pacific Properties Team’s tone, style, and brand guidelines.
Review property listings, contracts, promotional materials, and client communications for clarity and accuracy.
Collaborate with the content team to refine and improve written materials.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality while working within deadlines.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of written content.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a proofreader, editor, or similar role, preferably in real estate or related fields.
Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Familiarity with real estate terminology is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, or other document management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the real estate industry.
Knowledge of SEO and content optimization practices.
Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago Manual of Style).
