Our social media channels are a critical part of our brand voice, and we’re looking for a passionate and strategic Social Media Manager to lead and grow our presence across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter).

Role Overview:

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll take ownership of our social media strategy and content across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with our video editors, creatives, and internal marketing team to plan, produce, publish, and analyze content that educates, engages, and drives growth.

This is a hands-on role for a creative and organized individual who understands platform nuances and can tailor content for each while keeping the brand voice consistent.

Key Responsibilities:Content Strategy & Planning:

Develop and maintain a cross-platform content calendar
Craft channel-specific strategies that align with company goals and audience behavior on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
Identify trends, topics, and formats to maximize reach and engagement.

Content Creation & Publishing:

Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging video, visual, and written content.
Manage video production workflows from ideation to final upload (especially for YouTube)
Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
Write compelling captions, titles, hashtags, and calls to action tailored to each platform
Schedule and publish content using social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite).

Engagement & Community Management:

Monitor and respond to comments and DMs to foster a loyal and safe community
Partner with influencers and creators where appropriate to amplify content reach
Actively participate in trends and conversations relevant to our niche.

Analytics & Optimization:

Track key performance metrics across platforms and provide monthly reports
Use insights to optimize content, posting times, and creative approaches
A/B test thumbnails, titles, formats, and more to continuously improve performance.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or digital media company
Proven success growing and managing audiences on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
Strong understanding of platform algorithms, content best practices, and audience engagement strategies
Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills
Experience with video formats and working alongside editors/designers
Proficiency with social media scheduling, analytics tools, and basic design tools like Canva
Highly organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Bonus: Familiarity with true crime, investigative content, or online safety/tech topics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
