At Axis Communications, we’re looking for a talented, creative, and strategic Content Specialist to join our Public Relations and Communications team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with marketers and thought leaders to develop compelling content that supports brand messaging and resonates with target audiences. Your efforts will help to drive organizational goals and elevate our overall content strategy.

As our Content Specialist, you will oversee content creation and management, crafting strategies that engage diverse audiences and align with our brand, marketing, and business objectives. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency in tone-of-voice and messaging. This role requires exceptional writing skills, creativity, attention to detail, and strong project management skills, along with the ability to stay current with content trends and industry best practices.

What You’ll Do Here…

Collaborate with marketing and internal stakeholders to define and execute content strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
Partner with subject matter experts, agencies, and freelance writers to produce high-impact content.
Research and write original content for web, social media, blogs, and more.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all content.
Manage content calendars and ensure timely publication across platforms.
Optimize content for SEO, SMO, and PPC to boost visibility and engagement.
Oversee the Axis Americas blog, including planning, writing, and publishing.
Analyze content performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Stay updated on content trends, customer preferences, and digital advancements to ensure content remains innovative, competitive and effectively engages audiences.
Serving as a writing resource, copy editor and a steward of good writing, including supporting our style guide.

What You’ll Need …

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English/Literature, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, marketing, or a similar field.
Portfolio of published work showcasing a diverse range of writing styles and content formats.
Solid understanding of SEO, SMO, and PPC best practices to drive traffic and engagement.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of various content platforms and social media channels.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing projects from concept to completion.

What We Are Looking For …

Experience in B2B marketing or technology industries.
Familiarity with analytics tools to track and report on content performance (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving content trends and rapidly changing technologies.

Pay range:

The approximate pay range for this location and position is $80-90K. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
