We're looking for a creative and motivated Freelance Marketing Assistant to help us grow our brand and attract buyers and sellers through compelling visual content and strategic marketing.

Position Overview:This part-time freelance role is perfect for someone with a passion for real estate marketing, social media, and especially video production. You’ll work closely with our team to develop and project manage the teams marketing plan; showcasing listings, creating engaging digital content, assist with digital newsletters as well as physical mailing, coordinate live events, manage CRM marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Keep schedule and assist with the overall management of the teams marketing
Video & Photography:
Capture and edit short-form video and photography content for listings, social media, and agent branding (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
Coordinate and schedule photo/video shoots of residential properties
Create listing flyers, brochures, and branded marketing materials using Canva or Adobe Suite
Plan, create, and schedule social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Assist with email campaigns and newsletter creation
Help maintain website content, blogs, and property pages with SEO best practices
Analyze basic engagement metrics and assist in reporting
Stay updated on real estate marketing trends, especially in the Chicago market
Assist with CRM marketing for existing clients: home anniversary, referral gifts, and other initiatives, and keep client data up to date.
Assist with quarterly physical mailers
Coordinate with artists producing card
Coordinate with production
Stuff and stamp mailers and send
Scheduling and running a weekly meeting with team leads regarding upcoming marketing efforts
Help manage podcast schedule and editing

Qualifications:

Located in Chicago (or with the ability to visit properties/office as needed)
1–3 years of experience in marketing, real estate, or content creation
Proven experience shooting and editing video (phone or camera-based; social-first content preferred)
Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro or similar), or Final Cut Pro
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok marketing
Strong writing and communication skills
Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
Knowledge of the Chicago real estate market or an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Agent is a plus
