About the Role: We're seeking a passionate freelance journalist based in the New York City area who loves writing and staying informed about current events. This position focuses on covering the global media and advertising industries with the flexibility of remote work while staying connected to NYC's international marketing ecosystem.

What You'll Do: Research, report, and write compelling articles on breaking news, trends, and analysis within global media and advertising markets. Conduct interviews with global agency executives and brand marketers, have opportunity to attend international industry events, and deliver polished copy that keeps our audience informed about this fast-paced global industry.

What We're Looking For: A curious writer who is either experienced in global media and advertising or genuinely excited about diving into these international markets. Strong research skills, excellent interviewing techniques, and ability to translate complex global marketing concepts into engaging content. We value someone who follows international industry publications, global advertising campaigns, and can spot emerging trends across markets. Understanding of regional advertising differences, international digital marketing, and cross-cultural campaigns is a plus.
