Defining the Role
As the Social Media Manager & Content Producer at AKA Collective, you will be a crucial player in our social media and content creation team, responsible for managing, creating, and optimizing social media content that resonates with audiences across major platforms. This role requires a blend of strategy, creativity, and technical skill to produce engaging, high-quality short-form content that amplifies client brands and AKA’s presence. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of social media algorithms and trends, and a proven ability to create impactful content that maximizes reach and engagement.
Based in Dallas, TX, this full-time, in-office role is embedded within a close-knit, elite team. You’ll work directly with the Creative Director & Head of Social Content, as well as various creative teams, to ensure AKA’s content remains on-brand, innovative, and consistently effective across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to individual client goals. Create, manage, and post short-form content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat Stories, and YouTube Shorts.
- Content Creation & Production: Lead the daily creation, editing, and posting of high-quality content, ensuring alignment with client vision and platform-specific best practices. Execute hands-on filming, photography, and editing to produce visually engaging content that meets AKA’s standards.
- Trend Analysis & Ideation: Monitor social media trends and platform updates, ensuring AKA’s content remains timely and competitive. Propose and develop fresh content ideas that drive engagement and strengthen client brand presence.
- Community Management: Manage community interactions by monitoring and responding to comments and messages in real time, fostering a positive and interactive brand presence on behalf of clients.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track and analyze content performance, creating regular reports to inform strategy adjustments. Collaborate with the Creative Director to meet performance benchmarks and identify opportunities for growth.
- Client Relations & Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their objectives, refine their social presence, and translate these goals into high-performing content. Provide insights and content recommendations based on analytics and platform trends.

Compensation Details:
- The Social Media Manager & Content Producer role offers an annual salary range of $66,000 - $78,000, commensurate with experience and skill level.
