We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our dermatology office team. This individual will play a key role in building our brand presence within the local community, strengthening relationships with referring physician offices, and managing digital marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of various marketing channels and the ability to analyze data to inform decision-making. The ideal candidate is a creative, outgoing, and organized professional with a passion for healthcare marketing and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Physician Office Outreach:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local referring physicians and medical professionals.
- Visit other physician offices to promote our dermatology services and facilitate referral opportunities.
- Provide educational materials, promotional items, and updates about our practice to physicians and their staff.
- Coordinate lunch-and-learn sessions and other informational events to foster professional relationships.
Digital Marketing Management:
- Oversee and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand awareness and patient engagement.
- Manage website content, ensuring it is up-to-date and optimized for search engines (SEO).
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to develop marketing collateral such as blog posts, video content, and newsletters.
- Track digital marketing performance and adjust strategies to meet KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Community Engagement:
- Attend and represent the dermatology office at local community events, health fairs, and expos to increase visibility.
- Develop partnerships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to promote dermatology services.
- Identify and organize sponsorships and other community involvement opportunities that align with the practice’s brand and values.
Promotional Materials & Swag:
- Order and manage the distribution of promotional materials such as brochures, business cards, and branded swag (e.g., pens, tote bags, t-shirts, etc.).
- Ensure marketing materials and swag are well-stocked and distributed to referring physicians, community events, and potential patients.
Brand Promotion & Visibility:
- Promote the dermatology office through various media channels, including traditional print ads, online advertising, and local press outreach.
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at raising awareness about specific treatments or services offered at the dermatology practice.
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Plan and execute events (e.g., open houses, patient appreciation days, etc.) to engage with existing and potential patients.
- Collaborate with the office team to ensure smooth execution of events, from logistics to patient experience.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for practice growth and patient acquisition.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure the dermatology office remains competitive.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare or dermatology industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and SEO.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing analytics tools.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for building relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of dermatology services and treatments is a plus, but not required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation for office visits and attending community events.
- Willingness to travel locally for events, meetings, and community outreach efforts.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
