Key Responsibilities:
- Editorial Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive editorial strategies that align with business goals, ensuring consistency and quality across all content platforms.
- Global Content Planning: Collaborate with corporate and market stakeholders to plan, produce, and manage critical communication assets, tailoring content to resonate with diverse global audiences.
- Brand Consistency: Define and maintain editorial standards, including tone of voice and house style guidelines, ensuring cohesive and clear messaging across all communication channels.
- Content Innovation: Utilize emerging tools, such as AI technologies, to enhance content creation processes, improve efficiency, and introduce innovative content strategies.
- Cross-Channel Collaboration: Work closely with design teams (both digital and print) to ensure content aligns with visual elements across all platforms, including web, e-commerce, marketing collateral, and product packaging.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a team of copywriters and editors, promoting a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration.
- Content Production Management: Oversee the development and execution of various content projects, including digital communications, corporate publications, newsletters, product labels, and sales collateral, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Content Quality Assurance: Ensure content accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to legal, scientific, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying these insights to maintain a competitive advantage in content strategy and execution.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of content creators, ensuring high standards are maintained and deliverables are achieved on time.
- Provide feedback and guidance to develop the skills of team members, fostering an environment that values creativity and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in content management, editorial leadership, or similar roles.
- Proven track record of leading content strategies and teams across multiple platforms (digital, print, e-commerce).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools.
- Experience with SEO best practices and content performance analysis.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
