Position Overview
Calling all Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialists with experience in a highly matrixed, heavily regulated environment. Our pharma partner is seeking a SEO Specialist to join their team in a freelance capacity.
This is a fully remote or hybrid position based in Indianapolis, IN. This is a flexible role that will either be up to 32 or up to 40hrs per week (more details upon application) for approximately one year, with potential to extend. A laptop will be provided. Candidates who are willing to work in varying time zones across the globe to support business partner requests are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and optimizing keyword lists across customer groups and brand areas.
- Technical site audits for all websites to maintain optimal site health and finding content opportunities.
- Partnering with cross functional teams to coordinate efforts across the web, organic search, social, etc.
- Assist with reporting, keyword optimization, technical audits, content recommendations, competitive landscape analyses and trends, algorithm update reports, SEO meta data and additional content research.
- Understanding industry trends and updates that directly correlate to overall organic strategy and how they may affect current site performance.
- Identifying new optimization and testing opportunities to enhance search performance and drive business forward.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical SEO experience.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO Tools such as SEMrush and Screaming Frog.
- Experience working in heavily regulated environments.
- Digital agency experience.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is preferred.
- Experience with Adobe products, including Adobe Analytics and AEM, is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to network and influence at multiple levels, across functions and within a matrixed organization.
