MARKETING & DESIGN ASSISTANT opportunity for an experienced candidate with a growing womenswear brand.
The opportunity will provide hands on experience in our design studio and storefront showroom. You will be working directly with the design team and customers. You will also be involved in the creation process, assisting with the design team and helping with marketing deliverables. The job entails strong technical computer skills as there is a heavy component of graphic design work. This role requires strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, photoshop, Lightroom, etc as well as any previous graphic design skills. Any tech background is a plus. You will be assisting the lead designer and helping with a variety of tasks not limited to technical design but also ranging from creative marketing, sales, events and digital marketing. A "can do" attitude is a must.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Graphic design deliverables ranging from marketing material, editing, content creation, flat lays, garment and product photos, video and gif creation, digital marketing assets as well as lookbooks, linesheets, marketing collateral, social media assets etc.
-Maintaining and updating website, inventory management, & shipments
-Organization skills are a must, helping in store merchandising, maintaining storefront
- Communicating with customers, email outreach, in store events, and database maintenance.
- Selling on the showroom floor. You must be open to learning our products and interacting with customers, must be outgoing and confident and have strong interpersonal skills. There will be commission bonuses based on sales performance. Any sales book is a plus.
- Digital Component. Helping with social media campaigns, marketing initiatives and event organization, content creation is a must. Digital/tech experience with SEO and online marketing is a plus.
-Assist with in house and outside sales events, understanding the garments we design and interacting with customers is required. Must be confident and outgoing. Sales are a priority. Both online and brick and mortar.
-Previous experience in fashion industry or with a tech company is a PLUS. Knowledge of fashion, garment design and or working in marketing for fashion brands/retail is a plus.
-Previous experience in sales/retail is a PLUS
- Digital Marketing knowledge is key.
