Overview:
We are seeking a Privacy Manager with expertise in content strategy, documentation management, and privacy practices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in content creation, organizational documentation solutions, and privacy compliance frameworks. This role will involve partnering with technical and operational teams to support business planning and create essential materials for regulatory discussions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage a structured content strategy to align with privacy compliance needs.
- Plan and organize workflows for documentation management and tooling support.
- Create and maintain essential documentation, such as SOPs, FAQs, and policies.
- Implement systems for the organization, storage, retrieval, and maintenance of documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support automation and documentation tools.
- Develop end-to-end program documentation to support regulatory discussions and audits.
- Create comprehensive playbooks for existing and new processes, such as Data Protection Officer (DPO) activities and Data Subject Rights (DSR) policies.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience in content management and privacy practices.
- Strong skills in creating structured content for regulatory and operational needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technical and legal stakeholders.
- Proven track record in organizing and maintaining large volumes of documentation.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CPRA, etc.).
Compensation range for position is $60-70/hour DOE.
