To support our growth and improve SEO, lead generation, and conversion rates, we are looking to hire a Content Specialist to manage and deploy content across multiple brand websites.
Job Summary:
The Content Specialist will be responsible for creating, publishing, and managing content across multiple WordPress-based brand websites to improve search engine rankings, generate new leads, and enhance conversion rates. This role requires a balance of content writing, basic graphic design, SEO optimization, and website management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has experience managing digital content across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and publish high-quality, professional, and engaging content for multiple brand websites within the foundation repair and waterproofing industry.
· Research and write SEO-optimized blog articles, service pages, and landing pages to drive organic traffic and lead generation.
· Repurpose content across multiple brands while maintaining consistency and accuracy in messaging.
· Design simple but effective graphics using Canva or similar software to accompany blog posts, web pages, and social media content.
· Deploy content to WordPress websites, ensuring proper formatting, responsiveness, and mobile-friendliness.
· Implement SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, metadata creation, internal linking, and schema markup.
· Manage and schedule content updates across various brand sites, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.
· Work closely with brand marketing managers to align content strategy with business goals and lead generation objectives.
· Create and deploy email marketing content using templates optimized for desktop and mobile.
· Monitor website analytics and SEO performance to adjust content strategies accordingly.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, SEO best practices, and digital marketing strategies to continuously improve content effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills:
· 3+ years of experience in content writing, digital marketing, or SEO-focused content management.
· Proven experience managing content in WordPress, including page creation, formatting, and basic HTML/CSS edits.
· Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to different brand voices.
· Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
· Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot.
· Understanding of website usability and responsive design principles.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
· Strong collaboration skills to work with marketing managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
· Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the home services, foundation repair, or construction industry is a plus.
· Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
· Knowledge of local SEO strategies for service-based businesses.
· Basic video editing skills for creating short-form marketing videos.
