Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing and post-production. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage into polished, engaging content that resonates with our audience. This position requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and proficiency in various editing software.

Responsibilities

Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the creative vision and objectives.
Collaborate with team members to understand project goals and requirements.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, to create visually compelling videos.
Incorporate motion graphics and typography to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.
Manage post-production processes including color correction, sound design, and final delivery formats.
Work with 3D software like Maya when necessary to integrate visual effects or animations.
Ensure all video content is consistent with brand guidelines and quality standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve editing techniques.
Be able to source broll and stock footage if necessary

Qualifications

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) is essential.
Experience with motion graphics and typography is highly desirable.
Familiarity with post-production workflows and best practices.
Knowledge of photography principles and experience using Capture One is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
