Wordibly Seeks Remote Proofreaders!

Must be able to read, write and speak fluently without limitations or assistance.
Proven experience in proofreading and editing.
Attention to detail and a good understanding of grammar and punctuation rules.

You'll choose your own schedule from a block of available hours, working around your other responsibilities.

Hours of Work:

The candidate must be able to provide a minimum of 20 hours of availability (must include one weekend shift) between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm EST(4 hour shifts).

Responsibilities and Duties

Proofread, edit, and quality check Microsoft Word document transcripts for accuracy

Accurately transcribe English language audio and video recordings.
Ensure transcripts meet quality standards and adhere to formatting guidelines.
Effectively manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Maintain open communication with team members regarding project details.

Qualifications and Skills

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft WordExcel
Strong attention to detail
Mastery of English language, including both punctuation and grammar rules
A self-motivated, proactive, "can-do" attitude
The ability to work independently
Must have a working computer with high-speed Internet access to work from home, as needed
Associate degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
