Position: On-Camera Social Media Journalist – Biohack Yourself Media

Are you the face of the future of health media?

Biohack Yourself Media is looking for bold, on-camera correspondents to join our next-gen health news team. This high-visibility role is ideal for confident communicators who live and breathe wellness, science, and longevity, and know how to turn headlines into scroll-stopping, share-worthy content.

We’re not looking for traditional writers—we’re looking for smart, camera-ready storytellers who can research, film, edit, and publish timely health videos in a compelling, social-first format—optimized for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, and Truth Social.

This is a creator’s role for someone as comfortable dissecting trending health news as they are editing in CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or any tool that gets the job done.

Note: This is a part-time, freelance, and fully remote opportunity. We welcome applicants from all U.S. states and Washington, D.C. While there are no fixed hours, contributors are expected to submit content on a regular cadence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Appear on camera to deliver short-form news in a social-first format (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Research and script 1–2 minute news updates, weekly roundups, or expert spotlights
Edit your videos, including b-roll, captions, sound, and graphics (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc)
Write impactful captions and post content across our social media channels
Track performance metrics and adapt content based on engagement data
Collaborate with our editorial team on real-time newsjacking and trend integration
(Optional) Cover live events, expos, or interviews with industry experts

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong on-camera presence with clarity, energy, and charisma
Deep familiarity with social media trends, formats, and audience behavior
Skilled in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar
Basic knowledge of photo editing using Adobe Photoshop and Canva
Eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and social-first production techniques
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and self-manage shoots
Sincere interest in health, wellness, science, and biohacking
