Job Title : Content Producer, Video & Photography

Job Description
Responsible for shaping and executing on visual concepts, as well as offering creative input, for video and photographic content initiatives. This individual will work in partnership with audio and visual production teams across the firm and those of select vendors, to help produce and amplify content across the Firm’s content channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and edit high-quality video and photography assets that elevate executive visibility, including leadership interviews, firmwide town halls, speaking engagements, and media appearances.
- Cover major internal and external events, including conferences, sponsorship activations, and client experiences — from behind-the-scenes storytelling to polished recap videos.
- Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment on location and in studio environments, ensuring production quality meets firm standards.
- Lead post-production efforts, including video editing, motion graphics, photo retouching, and asset delivery across digital, social, and internal channels.
- Manage media asset organization, archiving, and metadata tagging in coordination with our digital asset management (DAM) system.
- Repurpose existing content (webinars, interviews, customer stories) into snackable social videos and supporting assets.
- Maintain a consistent visual style and tone in accordance with Morgan Stanley brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketers, designers, writers, and senior stakeholders to deliver work that aligns with brand and campaign strategy.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years shooting and/or other production experience in a professional media context. Ideal experience would involve investment- or financial-related content for mass media or a large corporation, with multiple stakeholders and a broad audience. Familiarity with the financial services industry, global markets and content marketing trends a plus.
- Expert production instincts that can quickly absorb complex ideas and contexts, translating them to executable production concepts in service of engaged and motivated but non-expert audiences.
- Expert DP skills. Can seamlessly innovate on and apply cutting-edge styles and techniques for video production, while maintaining repeatable and efficient production processes.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environment and adapt/reprioritize accordingly with ease.
- Solid editing and media management skills. Able to organize, archive, version and perform basic editing of video and photographic content. Able to support post-production process conducted elsewhere withing the Firm or by external vendors.
- Solid documentary and event photography skills. Able to work independently and with stylistic guidelines to produce and edit photographic content for digital channels.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom); Davinci Resolve experience a plus.
- Skilled with professional camera systems (Sony/Canon/Blackmagic), lighting rigs, and audio recording tools.
- Excellent storytelling instincts, strong compositional skills, and an ability to work discreetly and professionally in executive environments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects on tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing your video and photography work is required.
