About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Associate Web Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing, fact-checking, and ensuring the quality of web content, including biographies, short articles, blog posts, etc. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maintaining high editorial standards while meeting client expectations.
Objectives
Purpose:

Edit biographies, short articles, blog posts, and other types of web content for spelling, grammar, syntax, organization, and tone.

Fact-check information to ensure accuracy and credibility.

Maintain consistent quality across all content to meet internal style guidelines.

Ensure content aligns with internal strategy guidelines.

Respond to questions from writers and editors to ensure content meets quality standards and client satisfaction.

Provide detailed feedback to address any content-related issues.
Competencies
Purpose:

Experience in content editing, journalism, or a related field.

Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.

Knowledge of industry-standard style guides (e.g. Chicago Manual of Style).
