Robert Half is seeking an experienced Insurance Attorney to join an ongoing legal research initiative.

Hours : 40 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
Our client is looking for a licensed insurance attorney to assist with both creation and review of varying content types, including state law surveys, state law Q& As, practice notes, articles, current awareness pieces, trackers, and other kinds of content as required. Candidate will conduct in-depth review of statutes, regulations, case law, insurance department guidance, NAIC models, and secondary materials to ensure currency of published insurance content or creation of new content and edit text of existing documents or draft new content, including practice notes and articles, state law surveys and trackers, or Q& A documents.
Requirements:
Law degree from an accredited law school
Member, in good standing, in at least one State
3-5 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house working with insurance coverages and/or insurance regulatory compliance (Both law firm and in-house experience a plus)
Understanding of insurance coverage Understanding of insurance regulatory compliance
Knowledge of and ability to use Lexis+ to search status of primary and secondary legal materials
Knowledge of and ability to navigate State Insurance Department websites and related resources
Knowledge of and ability to navigate NAIC website and related resources
Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
Ability to accept feedback on work product and revise accordingly
Organized and self-motivated
Comfortable working in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Max
