We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and sharp individual to join our team as a Boutique Manager and Social Media Content Creator. The ideal candidate will be the face and voice of our brand in the DC area, with a strong passion for fashion, beauty, and hair. While managing the day-to-day operations of our high-end boutique, your primary focus will be on creating engaging social media content to drive brand awareness and increase sales. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to blend their operational expertise with their creative marketing skills to grow our presence in the DMV market.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media & Content Creation (Primary Focus):
- Develop and execute a robust social media content strategy to attract new customers and engage our existing community.
- Create compelling photo and video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook that aligns with the Indique Hair brand aesthetic.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance and report on key metrics.
- Collaborate with corporate marketing to launch campaigns and promotions that drive online and in-store sales.
- Boutique Operations & Sales:
- Oversee all daily boutique operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
- Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve any client service issues.
- Maintain meticulous inventory accuracy and ensure the boutique is always visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Independently manage and resolve all boutique maintenance and operational issues, collaborating with the retail operations team as needed.
- Manage daily financial reports, deposits, and POS systems (Shopify).
- Support corporate with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Mentor other Boutique Managers for content creation as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management with a strong interest in social media content creation.
- A strong portfolio of social media content is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for the beauty, fashion, and hair industry, with a keen eye for current trends.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and content creation tools.
