Job Title: SEO & Analytics Consultant

Summary
Our client is seeking a
SEO & Analytics Consultant to support ongoing efforts to improve search visibility, drive qualified traffic, and optimize website performance. This role is ideal for a
data-driven freelancer with hands-on technical SEO, content optimization, and web analytics expertise. You will work independently in a flexible remote engagement while collaborating with internal stakeholders to align SEO and analytics strategies with business goals.
What You’ll Be Accountable For
- Review existing SEO strategy and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Manage Google Search Console: monitor crawl/indexing issues and implement fixes.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover SEO growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain SEO and performance dashboards (DashThis or similar).
- Configure Google Tag Manager and GA4 to ensure accurate data collection.
- Implement technical SEO best practices: schema markup, metadata, internal linking, URL optimization.
- Maintain and update the corporate website on Squarespace to ensure optimal performance and UX.
- Optimize and publish new content with SEO-focused metadata, alt text, and formatting.
- Communicate findings and collaborate with leadership to align SEO insights with broader goals.
What Qualifications You Need
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and analytics.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and GA4.
- Experience with Squarespace CMS, including site updates and SEO configuration.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated success driving measurable SEO improvements for small businesses.
- Excellent communication and time management skills; able to self-direct in a remote setting.
- Preferred: Experience building automated dashboards, supporting digital marketing teams, or managing reporting for multiple stakeholders.
