The Seeley Swan Pathfinder is seeking an editor to join the Mullen Newspapers team in Montana. The Pathfinder is a weekly community newspaper with most content generated locally by the editor with help from local journalists and freelance writers.

The Pathfinder offers a flexible work environment, and we will tailor the position for the right candidate. This is typically a full-time position (32-36 hrs a week), but duties can be rearranged to allow for this to become a part-time or contract position if desired.

Duties/Skills

Work with Freelance writers and photographers
Four to five stories a week
Design and lay out newspaper pages using Adobe Creative Suite.
Work cooperatively with journalists at Bitterroot Star, Silver State Post, and Philipsburg Mail.
Maintain an active presence in the community and regularly attend Seeley Lake area events.
Photography skills required
