Position Overview
Web Tech Fusion is currently seeking a Creative Writer & Content Coordinator who is passionate about targeted, inspired, and digestible content geared to support marketing and communication initiatives on an ongoing basis for our clients. This creative professional will help develop innovative concepts by writing copy and scripts for multimedia executions (TV, radio, social and digital). They will research topics and generate substantial website copy while following format acceptance criteria and integrating brand feel. Switching gears from one brand’s style and vision to another is essential to this individual’s success.
From conception to execution this individual will be able to handle the coordination and scheduling of content across various media types and platforms, such as conducting interviews with subject matter experts, loading content into different format/templates, working through approval workflows, scheduling social posts on social sites, etc. This individual should be detail oriented, well-organized, and have excellent time management, while being able to craft exceptionally well-written and captivating content.
A Creative Writer & Content Coordinator who is a team player, enjoys working in a collaborative environment across multiple disciplines (design, writing, marketing, etc.), and can turn around engaging content on tight deadlines will be an ideal fit.
In This Role, You Will
- Collaborate with various internal and external teams to understand the goals and target audiences for specific campaigns, projects, or initiatives; develop creative concepts, and take direction to advance those goals
- Manage multiple projects; write and edit content including but not limited to client and internal websites, online communication, blog, articles, traditional and digital advertisements, and social media
- Produce a variety of digital and print copy for Web Tech Fusion and its diverse client portfolio aligning their style and vision; ensure brand consistency (personas and tone)
- Conduct high-quality research, proactively seeking out and finding articles, interviewing stakeholders, and crafting content in their voice to represent their brand
- Effectively combine business and creative writing styles to write web page content (approximately 1,000-2000 words per page). Collaborate with internal SEO specialist to maximize reach
- Build concept calendars, set up project workflows to execute content delivery and schedule posts on various social media platforms.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a writer at an advertising agency or in-house agency
- Physically located in Eastern Timezone
- Must have an online creative portfolio consisting of writing examples
- Possess excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar
- Have a working knowledge of SEO, researching credible sources, and social media promotion
- Able to adjust to feedback from partners and managers, promoting balance and growth
- Self-Managing, proactive, detail-oriented with proven ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- In-depth knowledge of style guides. Can interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Capable of following project management procedures including setting up tasks and workflows to execute content delivery
- Must be able to schedule posts on various social platforms and integrate content into online tools as part of final content delivery
- Proficient with Microsoft products and similar 3rdparty web applications
- Familiar with online project management and storage tools such as Teamwork and Dropbox
