Description: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic team player with a strategic mindset who has extensive experience in creative writing and proofreading.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Checking all print and multimedia communications for spelling, grammatical consistency, punctuation, graphical errors, legal information, client mandatories and printer specifications.
· Evaluating layouts for problems with spacing, leading, kerning, type size, font, justification, and white space
· Evaluating designs with a creative eye and making recommendations for better executions with regards to impact, clarity, and based on the knowledge of client preferences
· Researching client trademarks and proper names, and work with account service to determine client preferences
· Ensuring that client and internal changes were implemented correctly on each round of revisions
Copywriting abilities include:
· Writing copy and headlines for a wide range of deliverables, including brand stories, print ads, packaging, website content and sales collateral
· Creating written content for multiple purposes, including internal and external communications
· Developing original concepts and copy for a variety of materials
· Adhering to brand standards and continuity of messaging across all marketing platforms
· Collaborating with design and account teams to achieve the best possible copy for each application
Other responsibilities include:
· Taking notes on client calls when necessary, especially kickoff calls
· Organizing project notes & uploading supporting materials to server
· Helping with workload when Accounts team is overloaded (i.e. helping with estimates, updating project statuses, etc.)
Types of jobs include package design, promotional advertising, corporate communications, websites and other digital materials, public relations, social media, and new business proposals
Ideal candidate will also be comfortable collaborating with art and account teams, be willing to work extra hours to meet impending deadlines, and have the ability to perform daily administrative duties.
Requirements:
· 3 – 5 years proofreading and copywriting experience in an agency environment or in-house
· Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or other relevant subject
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
