This is a contract position to join a remote digital agency with a client roster of globally celebrated tech and financial brands. You will work alongside a fully remote team, creating highly engaging digital campaigns and websites that use strategic design and skillful storytelling.
The contract will start ASAP with no set end date. It is open to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone.
As a Copywriter, you’ll collaborate with designers, other writers, creative leads, and project managers to come up with groundbreaking concepts and craft compelling copy that’s hopefully much better-written than this run-on sentence. You’ll be client-facing on a daily basis to work collaboratively with our team to deliver on the project tasks.
The work is with a client in the financial industry and is currently focused on emails, banner ads, and website landing pages. As the client relationship grows, the scope will expand, so you’ll need to be proficient in social and brand identity work (logo design and naming). You should be comfortable with campaign ideation, snappy short-form writing (headlines, ad copy, etc,) plus medium-form and longer-form content writing for relatively large websites.
- A polished portfolio that contains compelling short and long-form copy for
well-known brands.
- 2-4 years of Copywriting experience or similar
- Must have experience at either an interactive creative agency or an in-house
creative department for a well-respected brand.
- Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet project
deadlines.
- The willingness to accept constructive, creative feedback from your creative
directors, peers, and clients, and to come up with smart solutions that address
that feedback.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to support and enhance copy.
Due to the high volume of inquiries we are receiving, we can only get back to candidates who meet the requirements above and present a complete portfolio with the requirements outlined in the job description.
