Adobe’s Global Marketing Organization is looking for a dynamic, creative-minded, audience-focused, Brand Marketing leader to join our team!
In this role, you will lead the development of breakthrough marketing plans and activations that create brand love, deliver marketing results and business impact for the Adobe brand. The Brand Marketing Director is someone who has successfully built brands and businesses by forging connections with new audiences and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished marketing leader, possessing sharp strategic and creative instincts. Proven ability to build, support, and encourage multi-disciplinary teams to do the best work of their careers.
What You’ll Do
- Be a knowledgeable authority on the audiences we support ranging from consumer to Enterprise and the categories and industries in which we compete. Bring fresh, relevant points of view to the work at hand and build what's next.
- Partner with Global Marketing and Product Marketing teams to craft strategy and plans that enable breakthrough activations across owned, earned, and paid marketing channels. Correlate activations to measurement plans that yield performance results.
- Lead cohesive brand activation plans including brand advertising, product innovation campaigns, always-on marketing activities, brand partnerships and extensions into culture and entertainment. Drive consistent experiences across all audience touch points.
- Develop content strategies with internal teams and external agencies that enable brand advertising in partnership with Studio and agency partners.
- Advocate for brand marketing investments that create sustainable, marketing impact and business growth.
- Champion brand purpose, ensuring It is coordinated into the definition of our brands and into how our brands show up at every touch point.
What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years’ experience in brand marketing in client, agency industries.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience building brands and results-oriented marketing plans. Familiarity with brand fundamentals (architecture, identity, and competitive positioning) of global brands.
- The ability to work with complex global brands that span consumer and enterprise businesses.
- Applied use of consumer insights, market research, marketing analytics and measurement models.
- Understanding of full-funnel marketing; diverse marketing channels, associated goals, and metrics.
- Be a confident storyteller. Exhibit executive presence combined with communication and social skills that authentically engage all levels of the organization.
- Be energized by connecting the dots between insights, strategy and planning, and impactful results.
- Model collaboration and leadership combined with optimism, curiosity, and creativity.
- Comfort with co-creation processes and an understanding that great outcomes are made possible with strong partnerships with stakeholders.
- Strong business knowledge and results orientation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $0 -- $256,450 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
