The Opportunity
We are looking for a senior marketing leader to drive marketing strategy, planning and operations for Adobe Express. This leader will be responsible for setting the annual and quarterly marketing strategy and plans to drive business goals, guide marketing budget investments and bring together a cohesive narrative of marketing ROI and learnings across key marketing initiatives.
This is a high-impact role for a professional with experience working with senior executives in setting annual marketing strategy and investment plans based on business goals and learnings and partnering with multiple audience segments and marketing channel owners to deliver tangible results in a matrixed environment.
What you’ll do
Annual and Quarterly Marketing Strategy and Planning - Collaborate with executive leadership to define the Express annual and quarterly marketing strategy and plan based on market trends, competitive landscape and audience needs.
Marketing Performance Dashboards – Partner with performance marketing teams to get hands-on knowledge using self-serve marketing performance dashboards to monitor various marketing program KPIs such as category search volume, branded search volume, social insights, media ROI, comms share of voice, MAU and more.
Cohesive Marketing Narrative - Partner with various audience segment leaders and channel performance marketing teams to pull together a cohesive marketing narrative for the business that clearly outlines strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities the upcoming period.
Annual and Quarterly Marketing Investments- Partner with marketing segment leaders, marketing channel owners and finance to guidemarketing budgets on an annual and quarterly basis. Help prioritize marketing programs based on marketing ROI and learnings, to fund the programs with the biggest impact to business goals.
Marketing budget management and operations - Oversee the marketing budget cycle, in partnership with finance, business operations, audience segment leaders, and marketing channel owner
Team Leadership - Lead a small team of marketing strategy and budget planning and operations. Foster a “founders” mindsetwhile promoting a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and accountability within the team
Executive Presentations and Stakeholder Engagement - Partner with internal stakeholders (such asproduct marketing, GTM, sales, audience segment teams, marketing channels,campaign teams, and regional teams) to ensure strategic alignment of marketing programs to drive ROI based on available budgets. Present marketing plans to senior executives to drive alignment and approvals.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a senior-level leader that understands the Adobe Express category business drivers and can connect the dots across marketing programs and business impact.
Proven experience in setting marketing strategy and marketing investments at a senior level, with a focus on software or technology.
Strong understanding of marketing to effectively develop budget strategy aligned to business priorities as well as manage budgets, drive efficiency, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience using various marketing performance dashboards to monitor marketing program KPIs such as category search volume, branded search volume, social insights, media ROI, comms share of voice, MAU and more.
Self-starter and proactive leader with a minimum of fifteen years of industry experience, along with experience building highly effective teams.
Strong EQ, influencing skills, and leadership ability, ideally including experience driving consensus in matrixed organizations.
Experience influencing peers across product management, the sales/ GTM, corporate marketing, and regional leaders in a high matrixed and global organization environment.
Strong executive presence and excellent collaboration skills
Strategic problem solver who can identify and set short- and long-term strategic priorities.
“Owner-operator” working style.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $175,000 -- $365,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
